We want to extend a warm welcome to Eric Silvestre who is the latest addition to the Sandskater Team.

Eric becomes Sandskater’s first French rider, hailing from Oleron Island on the Atlantic coast of France. We first met him in 2005 during the first Oleron Outing, and have returned to France to skim with him on a number of occasions.

Eric’s solid riding skills are perfected on the Oleron liners and he has some of the best conditions to work with. We look forward to working with Eric in the coming months & years! Welcome to the team Eric.

Street Surfing has arrived at Sandskater!

The Wave board is what you use to Street Surf. It looks similar to skateboard, but has 2 castor wheels which can rotate 360 degrees, and the 2 deck plates are joined together by a spring loaded torsion bar!

The end result is a board that combines the natural fluidity of surfing with the smooth maneuverability of snowboarding and skating into one new action board sport known as Street Surfing.

And not to forget the younger riders out there, we also have a stock of The Ripple Board - which is designed with younger riders in mind!

We have taken delivery this week of the fantastic new Banshee Bungee!

Basically, its a 20ft long bungee rope that can be stretched to over 200ft, and launch you at over 30mph! Some of the bungee packages come with 2 or 3 bungee ropes, so you can link a few bungees together to get an even faster & longer pull.

When used with the correct anchor, it can allow skimboarders to reach waves further out that wouldn’t be reachable with just running and side slipping.

But it doesn’t stop there. Banshee Bungee packages can be used to give a boost to any kind of board sport. You can use it with skateboards, snowboards, wakeboards & wake skates, to name a few. The possibilities are endless!
