Zap Skimboards - Gulf Coast Spring Skim Jam
The contest was held in wave conditions
similar to what we have in the UK. The standard of skimming was very
high, right through from the pro's, to the little kids! The tricks they
were pulling in the conditions really surprised us, big spins, shuv-its,
you name it, somebody tried to pull it off. Some of the competitors were
catching a lot of air, as you can see in the photos in the skimboard
gallery.
It was a great atmosphere, and everybody
was really friendly, and made us feel welcome.
