Well, what can we say about "Henbot". His nickname says it all - just like a robot, he is focused, methodical and calculating when it comes to bodyboarding. This local lad from Torbay has been bodyboarding less than a year, but already he is showing huge potential. He placed in the top 3 for his age division in the Nationwide Undaground Grom Search U18 contest.
Henbot's enthusiasm and knowledge for the sport of bodyboarding is emmense, and it's one of the reasons we put him on the team right away.
Despite his young age, he is well travelled, having bodyboarded in South Africa, France, as well as the UK.
Any spare moment is spent bodyboarding, or organising to tag along on road trips with older, more experienced bodyboarders so he can gain experience at many of the south west's secret spots.
He has 2 years left before he has to move up an age division, and we think this kid has got the potential to go far and get many top 3 finishes under his belt.
